How verification works
Trust shows up as a clear label. We do not invent a score. Confirming ownership publishes a business as Listed. Verified is earned only after the checks below pass.
Ownership
We confirm ownership. That publishes the business as Listed. It does not make the business Verified.
Registration
Business registration records are checked as part of becoming Verified.
Contact
A business email or published phone number is confirmed.
License
When a license is required, Florida licenses are checked against the state database, and fully automatic Florida license checks are rolling out now. Other states go through document review. If a required check expires, Verified is removed until it passes again.
Loppee serves many kinds of local businesses, including restaurants and shops that may need no license. Owner-provided documents, such as an insurance certificate, are shown as provided by the business. Loppee does not independently confirm them. Listed pages state openly that the business is not Verified.
